Located in Joplin, Missouri, Dal-Mar Cockers was
established in 1980 by Donna Harrington.
Her First show dog was the R/W CH. Repertoire Renegade
bred by Aaron Morris. Renegade was handled by Mozelle Craft
to a quick Championship, and he is the cornerstone of the
Dal-Mar Kennel. His first line bred litter produced Dal-Mar's
Candylane Keepsake and Dal-Mar is now in it's 9th generation
of this bitch line.
.
By outcrossing to CH. Signature's Solitaire, Dal-Mar
introduced more elegance and style to the health and soundness
that Renegade had so consistently produced. Ch. Dal-Mar's
Billy Jack is an example of the Solitaire line.
Billy Jack was an extremely typey dog, full of beauty
and class. Not only was he a top winner, but he proved to
be an outstanding producer as well. So many of today's top
Parti lines come from Billy Jack, including CH
Empires Brooklyn Dodger who was by a Billy Jack
son and out of a Billy Jack daughter. Billy Jack's
most notable daughter was CH. Dal-Mar's Sevelle
who finished her specials career as the number 1 Parti bitch
in 1986 with multipe BISS, Group placements, and a BIS,
all breeder owner handled by Donna.
CH. Dal-Mar's Seville gave Donna one daughter,
Ch. Dal-Mar's Pink Cadillac who was used for breeding.
Three of her daughters, CH. Dal-Mar's Deville,
Dal-Mar's Catera, and CH. Dal-Mar's Cruella
Deville have carried the line forward with incredible
results.
Adding new lines to any program is always difficult, and
well thought out. Dal-Mar's purchase of CH. Tri-Pod's
Moment of Truth as a puppy, has been a wonderful decision.
Bred by Deb Podratz, "Noah" has quickly earned
a reputation as a producer, and was the Number 1 producer
all varieties in 2005 and Top Parti Producer in 2006. Because
"Noah" goes back to CH. Empire's Brooklyn
Dodger, Dal-Mar is able to linebreed on it's original
breeding stock.
In Dal-Mar's over 25 years of breeding, 86 individuals now
carry the title of Champion. Dal-Mar is committed to raising
healthy, happy, sound show puppies, and excellence is always
a forethought!
